You can remove footer in 3 simple steps:
1. Customizing -> Footer options -> Widgets section -> Disable Text Block https://jmp.sh/KFeoZMw
2. Remove all widgets from "Footer widget area" https://jmp.sh/tsTghwj
3. Customizing -> Footer options - > Copyright section -> Delete Copyright text https://jmp.sh/LyUMxuM
After that footer must disappear.
