As you can notice, some of our products are presented not only as WordPress themes but also as UI Kits (or HTML templates).
Although they seem to be very similar at first glance, they are absolutely different. Besides, sometimes the functionality of the HTML template is a bit more extended than in the same WP theme. It happens because some features cannot be realized via any CMS, including WordPress (for instance, Olympus HTML has online chat, but Olympus WP doesn't).
WP themes have the admin interface with options, which allows you to adjust style and functionality for your site:
Please, mind that you cannot upload HTML templates/UI kIt to WordPress because HTML templates have no database, no user admin interface, no backend functionality.
Unlike WP themes, HTML templates are not fully working websites. HTML templates are just a set of HTML and CSS files for the frontend.
As a rule, they are used by developers for creating websites on various CMS and it requires high coding skills to create a site with an HTML template.
