By installing demo content, your theme will look like the one you see on our demo. Demo data is not required but will help you easily get core pages, categories, and metadata. This action will also let you understand how the theme works by allowing you to modify content that is already there rather than creating it from scratch. IMPORTANT: After you have imported demo data, all content you had on your site will be deleted and replaced by the theme demo content. That's why demo data import is recommended for a clean WordPress installation. KEEP IN MIND: Images from the demo site are not imported, since they are copyright-protected. Instead of the demo images, the dummy ones will be imported, and you can replace them with your own.
With the theme installed and activated go to Tools > Demo Content Install.
Press the Install button for the Modesto theme and confirm the action in the popup window.
