Portfolio sorting on page

In Polo version 1.0.6. we added a sorting option for portfolio items on page. It will allow you to order portfolio items by:

• date
• slug
• title
• post id
• last modified date
• page order

Additionally you can choose sort order:

• Ascending
• Descending

The sorting options are available for Portfolio page template. All you have to do is:

1. Create a new page with Portfolio page template or edit existing portfolio page;
   
2. Scroll down to Portfolio page options box;
3. And find Sort order and Order by option under Main options tab.
   

Sorting by Page Order

By Page order option lets you order portfolio items in a  custom way by using Simple Page Ordering plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-page-ordering/ . All you have to do is to:

1. Install and activate Simple Page Ordering plugin.
2. Edit your portfolio page and choose By Page order sorting option.
   
3. Save the page.
4. Go to Portfolio>All portfolio posts section and click on Click by Order link.
   
5. Reorder portfolio items with simple drag-and-drop function.
   
6. The order is saved automatically. Go to your page and view changes.
